History

Total Anesthesia, formerly known as Anesthesia Associates of Richmond, was founded in 1978 to provide anesthesia services at Henrico Doctors
Hospital. Since then the group has grown in size and scope of coverage
to become one of the premier providers of anesthesia care in Richmond.
The practice currently consists of nineteen MDs and thirty-two CRNAs
who provide coverage at two busy acute care hospitals and seven
ambulatory surgery centers.

We practice in state-of-the-art facilities and are committed to achieving the highest standards of excellence in the care of our patients. It is our promise that our patients will be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion and that we will strive to continually improve the quality and safety of their anesthetic care.
